Under moderate supervision, HR/Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing support to department activities with specific responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of preliminary and final payroll reports, time sheets, spreadsheets, and funds distribution; responding to inquiries and/or requests for data and/or reports; and providing timely and accurate payroll production. Additionally, this individual must demonstrate knowledge in functional areas of Human Resources including recruitment and staffing.
The payroll clerk screens online timecards for calculating, coding, or other errors. They process garnishments, resolve payroll issues, and provide outstanding service to all employees at all times.
