    The Human Resources Generalist will provide a broad-range of human resources expertise and hands-on administration in specific HR functional areas. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead on execution of day to day activities ranging from new employee onboarding, payroll edits, to compliance checks.
    • Assist in talent acquisition by posting job specs in different channels, monitoring and reporting on the success of various channels.
    • Assist in scheduling and screening of potential candidates, cycling feedback into recruiting process
    • Providing quarterly and monthly audit of records to ensure we are compliant with governing agencies and company policies
    • Help to drive employee engagement campaigns by being liaison between operational units and HR.
    • Work with Human Resource manager to draft communications to employees regarding any policy changes.
    • Other duties as defined

    Qualifications

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

     

    • College coursework in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Ideal candidates will have Human Resources Certification.

    Experience Required:

    • 2 to 4 years of relevant human resource experience
    • Experience in multiple aspects of Human Resource with a focus on Talent Acquisition
    • Experience interacting directly with multiple business units and operations personnel at all levels
    • CA Employment Law familiarity
    • Experience with ADP or other HRIS platforms.
    • Experience working in a fast paced, evolving and dynamic workplace.
    • Strong organization and communication skills, we operate multiple locations so communication and organization is vital
    • Ideal candidates will have union labor relations experience.

     

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • Must submit to a drug testing and background check

     

    Physical Requirements: 

    • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
    • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
    • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
    • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
