    Are you an experienced Learning and Development professional seeking a new opportunity to grow your career?

     

    The Learning & Development Specialist will implement a complete range of solutions for learning and performance initiatives company wide.  At Transdev, you will showcase your skills by developing, planning, conducting and tracking best in class company-wide training and development programs under the direct leadership of the Manager, Learning & Development.

    Responsibilities

    • Instruct all levels of staff on a variety of topics including leadership, operational/functional, customer service, TTT
    • Manage a development program from inception to completion (conceptualize, design, roll-out, evaluation and tracking)
    • Collaborate with a diverse, decentralized team including key business stakeholders
    • Apply adult learning principles and design in the development and deployment of learning solutions company-wide to improve employee performance and business results
    • Leverage instructional techniques and formats such as, role playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures especially in leadership development
    • Track training attendance and oversee reporting
    • Assist in creating positive corporate learning environment
    • Manage/coordinate learning resources

    Qualifications

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, OD, Training or another related field is required 

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development or in related Training positions
    • Project Management skills desired
    • Demonstrated experience facilitating a variety of topics and all levels of organization
    • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

    Experience Preferred:  

    • Experience working in a decentralized, operationally driven environment preferred

     

    Skills and Knowledge Required:

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
    • Understanding of internal client relationships in a decentralized environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong facilitation skills
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles, various training methods, and web delivery tools (video, podcasts, webinars)
    • Instructional design knowledge – both ILT and eLearning content development
    • Exposure to needs analysis
    • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Travel requirement (as a percent) 30%
    • Strong organization skills
    • Team player
