  • Overview

    The Building/GroundsKeeper will perform skilled on-going preventive maintenance work that will ensure the proper maintenance of the property, including building equipment and grounds under the direction of the Director of Maintenance.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Maintain building and grounds in top condition.
    • Appropriately operate all equipment and machinery as necessary.
    • Requires prolong sitting or standng to perform maintenance as needed.
    • Maintain all grounds equipment including record keeping of all maintenance performed.
    • Cleanup trash as needed around the premises.
    • Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance projects.

    Qualifications

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

    •  High School Diploma or GED

     

     

    Skills and Knowledge Required:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must be able to follow and comprehend direction provided by the Director of Maintenance.
    • Appropriately operate all equipment and machinery as necessary.
    • Ability to read chemical labels.
    • Ability to read material safety data sheet (MSDS).
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
