The Compliance Coordinator reports to the Safety & Training Manager, and provides clerical support to the department as assigned; files documents, records and forms. Inputs data into various administrative database and spreadsheet applications as needed and required. Promotes, positive safety culture, excellent customer service and strides to achieve the company goals of compliance.  


  • Sorts collections of documents alphabetically, chronologically, or by other categories as directed.
  • Files hard-copy forms, records and related documents in employee files, training files, general administrative files, as assigned.
  • Enters data in spreadsheet and database applications as directed.
  • Work directly with TPA (Sedgwick), adjusters, law offices, supervisors and other employees.
  • Collects, verifies and reports training hours into internal payroll systems.
  • Schedules various appointments required by Safety & Training Department, including employment interviews, substance abuse program drug testing, pre- and post-employment medical exams, and provides clerical support for the Safety and Training program.
  • Provides customer assistance with accident and/or injury inquiries.
  • Prepares, posts, and distributes various written communications (memos, notices, e-mail, posters, cover letters, etc.) as assigned.
  • Keeps office area clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Operates standard office equipment, e.g., photocopier, fax, computer work station.
  • Enters data, for WebRisk and TransTrack and other databases in accordance with required compliance deadlines.
  • Orders supplies for department or special-events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • Experience in administrative capacity required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Must be able to use a computer and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to file and retrieve documents.
  • Must be able to understand and follow basic instructions.
  • Must be able to pay close attention and complete detailed in assignments.
  • Must be able to compose, prepare and distribute written communications.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish-English), a plus but not required.
  • CDL, a plus but not required.


Pre-Employment Requirements:

  •  Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
