  • Overview

    The National Operations Manager will manage new program implementations, financial performance, and contract compliance for multiple locations across North America. This role will support our IntelliRide division,which provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation(NEMT) and ADA Call Center services in North America. 

    Responsibilities

     

    • Reviews performance reports and establishes performance goals; resolves interdepartmental or inter-facility issues; ensures that process improvements are implemented
    • Maintains Equal Employment Opportunity compliance and reporting
    •  Manages relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, industry associations, the community, legislatures and representatives, regulatory agencies, and the media
    • Ensures that all safety goals and directives are met; assists with compliance of all safety training/ standards and requirements.
    • Develops and monitors operational budgets; assists with setting of business unit goals and financial performance criteria for operating locations; communicates goals and financial performance to employees.
    • Assists in the development and oversight of bid workups and analysis and participates in the bid process
    • Drives new progam implementation process 

    Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred

    Experience:

    • 10 or more years of relevant Transit or NEMT management experience required.
    • Experience with Medicaid, NEMT, or ADA Call Center operations highly preferred.
    • Business development experience required

    Skills and Knowledge Required:

    • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
    • Understanding of Medicaid requirements for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service
    • Thorough knowledge of the methods of operation of call center staff and operational departments
    • Ability to deal with state and local government representatives
    • Ability to manage cost control and financial/budget experience handling multiple locations
    • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs
    • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills
    • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details

    Travel requirement (as a percent): 50% travel

     

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
    • Primary work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer; time is spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer.
