    Responsible for the review of schedule and trip requests, identify opportunities for improved service performance, identify common addresses and locations serving multiple customers and coordinate potential trip groupings, reviewing schedules and performed service for opportunities for improved scheduling  processes, determining subscription requests and usage to identify lapsed subscriptions and compliance to federal regulations, coordinating with management, corporate representatives and schedulers to develop and conduct two driver shift bids annually. 

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates proficiency with computer software to schedule and manage passenger trips
    • Demonstrates excellent team spirit and internal customer service
    • Analyze service for quality, trip or passenger trends and patterns, reviewing for opportunities to improve productivity of service
    • Evaluates trip provision to common addresses or locations to analyze determine the ability to combine individual trips for productivity
    • Monitors scheduling to ensure compliance with regulations, including those addressing rest and meal breaks
    • Successfully enters data and tracks data, maintains data including file back-ups and documentation file
    • Coordinates with the ACCESS and GROUP dispatching and scheduling processes
    • Track, compile and analyze performance, and handle interdepartmental issues,
    • Prepares and presents reports to management, and to internal and external persons, groups or committees
    • Coordinate with management to improve service delivery, streamline and improve processes and trip scheduling
    • Monitors service provision for quality of service
    • Maintains confidentiality of all information
    • Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
    • Completion of two years college, with College Degree preferred

    Experience:

    • 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience
    • Previous relevant transit experience preferred; with Trapeze Scheduling or Dispatching experience preferred
    • Class C CDL license preferred, willingness and ability to obtain such license

     

     Skills and Knowledge Required:

    • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, and good aptitude to learn specialized software
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, policies, and procedures
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details

    Travel requirement (as a percent) : <5% for occasional meetings

     

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • Must submit to non-DOT drug testing and a background check

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
    • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
    • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
    • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
