SuperShuttle, the most recognized name in the airport shuttle business and the nations leader in shared ride, on-demand, ground transportation, is seeking an experienced and talented leader for the position of Airport Supervisor. SuperShuttle and Transdev is the largest private sector operator of multiple modes of transit in North America, providing bus, rail, paratransit, shuttle, sedan and taxi services. We manage over 200 transportation contracts for cities, transit authorities and airports, providing safe and sustainable mobility solutions. Our mission is to improve public transportation, to enhance quality of life and combat global warming. The Airport Supervisor will supervise all aspects of running our on-airport SuperShuttle operation including customer service, dispatch, managing/motivating a team, and growing and impacting P & L results. Based on successful performance the position has a clear career path to Operations Manager, Director of Operations, General Manager, and beyond. 



Below is a brief overview of some of the duties and functions an ideal candidate would execute:

  • Lead by example in providing superior customer service
  • Handle and resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
  • Answer questions to guests about our services as well as other airport inquiries
  • Hire, train, manage, monitor, and motivate all airport staff to perform at optimum levels
  • Schedule personnel, making sure all shifts are covered, covering open shifts if necessary
  • Make sure all personnel are in proper uniform, including drivers
  • Preparation of cash deposits and cash reconciliation reports
  • Ordering and maintaining supply levels
  • Build relationships with local Airline personnel to grow referral business
  • Monitor and keep all work stations clean
  • Ensure that van operators comply with airport and dispatch procedures
  • Work closely with Operations Manager to increase airport efficiency


SuperShuttle is looking for candidates with retail sales, commission sales, up-selling, fundraising, lead generation, and restaurant server experience to work in a fast paced environment with attention to customer service.



 Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

  • BA or some college preferred, or equivalent prior work experience



  • Field and years of experience required: A minimum of 1 (one) year of relevant experience in a similar position required


Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Exemplary coaching and motivational skills at both an individual and team level
  • Experience managing a team of people
  • Excellent analytical and communications abilities, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle complicated client interactions
  • Must be a “self-starter” with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to administer several task simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Possess excellent documentation skills and follow up
  • Desire to achieve and grow professionally
  • Must be able to work 8+ hour days, standing at customer service work stations for long periods of time. Escorting customers from the service waiting areas to the van boarding areas.
  • Must have an even disposition, be able to multi-task while handling stressful situations and be a problem solver.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and be able to work well with others
