Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Janitorial Worker has the responsibility for cleaning all division facilities, including parking, restrooms, hallways, offices and yard apron.


  • Report any damages and acts of vandalism to management
  • Responsible for interior and exterior maintenance and cleanliness including administrative offices, restrooms, apron and bus yard.
  • Responsible for preparing for severe weather conditions
  • Responsible for maintaining storage areas & cleaning equipment in a safe and orderly manner to ensure safety of staff and public.


Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Ability to read and follow complex directions
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must maintain confidentiality when necessary
  • Ability to be detail orientated
  • Must be able to write & record a variety of data corresponding to position (fuel usage, fluid usage, mileage)

Physical Requirnments:

  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and environment conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, bend, lift, stretch, climb, balance kneel, crouch & crawl
